John Heinricy is a multiple time NCCA champion. He's also the Director, High Performance Vehicles at GM. He took me (and other journalists) for a drive at the Buttonwillow racetrack, in California. I almost wet my pants.
This is a ride in Magic Planet, in the Emirates Mall, in Dubai, UAE. It's a robotic arm, the kind that are found on car assembly lines. You can tell the operator just how crazy you want your ride to be, and a two minute ride costs about $4US.

March 5th, 2008. The new 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Turbo doing a bit of drag racing. The Launch Control mode tops RPM at 5,100, then prevents wheels from slipping too much on launch. No-Lift Shifts then allow for upshifts without lifting off the gas, or losing any turbo boost between shifts.
